Our boys and girls cross country teams had their first outing today at the Flahavan’s Cross Country competition. The team have been training hard with our athletics coach, Helen, over the past 5 weeks. The training certainly paid off with 1st place for Lola in the girls team event. Evie was 3rd in the girls individual and Louisa was 4th. All of our girls team finished in the top half leaving us in 2nd place overall! Brilliant result girls.
The boys all ran really well against very tough competition. Eoin finished in 4th place and again the boys all finished in the top half. We were so impressed with how well all of our team ran.
These were tough competitions with 70+ competitors in each race!
