A new session of Girls Rugby kicked off on Wednesday with an amazing group of 16 P5-P7 girls (pictures next week, we were having too much fun!) We were delighted to have Maire Harper-Simmance (former pupil of Ballydown) chat to the girls about rugby in Banbridge. She told us how much she enjoys playing at the club and being part of a team. She was encouraging the girls to get down to BRFC on Wednesday night at 6.30pm for the new session of Give It A Try. “The coaches are all really encouraging and make you feel welcome.”
Maire came up and played with the girls and passed on some valuable coaching tips!
