Great Outdoors Club fun in the sun!
On a glorious sunny afternoon this week P7 were busy as always in the Great Outdoors Club.
Pupils could freely choose to help to make our willow tunnel even better by wrapping the branches and fixing them to enhance the tunnel effect. They could also keep weaving our fences and have got another step closer to finishing them.
Our third project was actually finished in today’s session thanks to the efforts of everyone in carrying, transporting and then arranging our rocks into a cairn that is situated in our newly planted wood.It was fantastic to see it take shape as we all fitted our rocks of every size and shape together to form our very own school cairn. We will be revisiting it this school year to place a time capsule inside it for future pupils to open and learn about what we have been up to in 2022. A thoroughly enjoyable after school session that was educational , energetic and good old fun outside the classroom.
