What an amazing, busy, fun day we had in central London!
We started with a tour of Parliament. Lord Dodds joined us for our tour and told us all about being a Lord. Our tour was followed by spending the morning at Westminster Abbey, to watch the guests arrive for Prince Philip’s Memorial Service. The atmosphere was unreal! Afterwards on our way to Whitehall we bumped into Matt Hancock!
After that we had a bird’s eye view of London from The London Eye! After lunch we spent the afternoon shopping at Hamleys Toy Store.
The evening was spent having dinner near Piccadilly Circus then having a walking tour around Trafalgar Square and then up The Mall to Buckingham Palace.
A very busy day, but lots of memories to last a lifetime.
