In the run up to Christmas, Banbridge Lions Club hopes to support local retailers and raise some money for the mental health charity Aware NI by holding an ‘Odd One Out’ charity fundraising competition. We would love as many families and children as possible to get involved! Here’s what to do:
- Go into Banbridge town centre and pick up your quiz sheet from a participating store – look out for a blue poster in the window of participating shops that has a snowman with a banana for a nose!
- Visit each shop on the quiz sheet to find the ‘Odd One Out’ item in the shop window display – the item will be something that doesn’t fit with everything else in the window, for example, it could be a toaster in the window of a fruit and vegetable shop, or a hoover in the window of a bakery (these are just examples and not necessarily quiz answers..!)
- Write down what each ‘Odd One Out’ is on your quiz sheet.
- Drop your quiz sheet back into any participating shop, along with a small charitable donation, to be in with a chance of winning a surprise goodie hamper!THANK YOU FROM EVERYONE AT BANBRIDGE LIONS CLUB!
