We looked at feathers belonging to a variety of birds. We looked at the texture, patterns and colours of the feathers and we used words to describe them too. We used pens on acetate sheets to firstly explore making marks and lines. Then we carefully observed the feathers and made line drawings of them. We hung them up in the classroom to make a beautiful feather installation.
