Valentine’s Day was celebrated in P2 and we had lots of fun.
We made cards to be sent to our Valentine. We used different types of paper and materials. We studied an artist called Wassily Kandinsky. We created a picture of concentric hearts influenced by his famous style.
We completed numeracy and maths stations. We counted, added, matched the double sums, sequenced numbers, matched number words and numerals, created patterns, made and ordered different sizes of dough hearts, used coins in the Valentine’s shop and we played games.
