Today P4 dressed up for Chinese New Year. There were lots of wonderful outfits. A lot of the boys and girls dressed in red as this colour is regarded as a lucky colour in China. P4 found out lots of interesting facts about China. They got to practice some Chinese writing. Everyone made a red envelope and received some lucky money too! It was great fun using the chop sticks to eat some prawn crackers. During our art lesson, Miss White told us story about the willow pattern plate. P4 are observing this plate and recreating their own willow pattern plate.
