Today P4 observed how to stew some cooking apples. Mrs Chambers and Mrs Hinds peeled and chopped the apples for us. P4 got to taste the raw cooking apples. Some of us found them bitter, sour and juicy. Then the rest of the apples were cooked for us. We put the cooked apples into a pastry case and had a topping of fresh cream too. The best part had to be sampling the apples buns. We then had to write a procedure to explain how to make apple buns.
