On Wednesday 14th December, P7 pupils met up with their St. Francis counterparts for another day of Shared Ed activities. We visited the Palace Stables, Armagh for a special “Christmas Through The Ages” activity afternoon. We helped the cook prepare a Georgian Christmas dinner in the kitchen. We also met a Victorian butler who readied us to serve the upper-class family at Christmas. There was also a glimpse of what Christmas was like during the hardship of WW2. At each station, we met characters dressed in period costume with genuine artefacts that we were able to examine and use. We finished off the day with a Christmas craft activity workshop. Everyone had a superb afternoon!
