We had the best day ever! 🇬🇧🎉👸🎊❤️🤍💙.
We all dressed up in our party, princess and prince gear. We painted royal pictures and designed a crown, we created bunting to decorate our classroom and made crowns for Mr Murphy’s school competition. We had fun on the bouncy castles and paraded around the school to show everyone how well we looked.
We listened to stories about the Queen and watched some cartoons too. The school kitchen made us a very tasty lunch and we had ice cream and jelly and shortbread as well. The sun shone and we had our lunch outside and ended with a street party and dancing in the playground. Primary 2 had a special visitor …………as well as the Queen………. The Lord Mayor, Glenn Barr popped into our class to say hello.
We had a wonderful day and went home happy and exhausted too.
