P2/3 had lots of fun during stem day. We looked at dancing cranberries and talked about why the cranberries danced up and down in a glass of fizzy lemonade. We also made symmetrical mini beasts using natural resources from the Rath. We built 3 D structures using marshmallows and cocktail sticks strong enough to stand up when we gently shook it. P 3 also investigated insulating properties using ice-pops! We enjoyed being scientists for the day. Look at our lovely photos.
