Water Drops Project
P6 and P7 recently had a visit from two fundraisers from The Water Drops Project. They told us all about life in Kenya and the huge water shortages they face. They introduced us to children from the local primary school in the village of Mbirika. The project aims to raise much needed money to help build strong water tanks to store water for village use. These tanks need to be elephant proof to stop the elephants from stealing their precious water. The people of Mbirika have made bracelets which have been sent here to Northern Ireland. Our P6 and P7 classes are selling these bracelets and the money raised will go towards building a water tank for the village.
